Working with preschoolers is seriously the most fun job I have ever had! These kids make me laugh hysterically nearly everyday. I told the kids in September that I was pregnant but many of them didn't get it. Now that they can see my growing belly they love to talk about it and try to see if they can feel him moving. They all want to get kicked by him.
Here are just a few things they have said so far in regards to my pregnancy.....
- How is that baby going to get out of there?
- How does your baby eat in your belly?
- One student walked up to my belly and said "boo", he then wanted to know if the baby got scared
- "When my mom went to the hospital to have my baby brother her ankles were swallowed"- he meant swollen
Today I got sad because I will be going on a 2 year (maybe longer if we decide to extend our family within that time) maternity leave in February. I am really going to miss these kids a lot. I am going miss seeing their smiling faces, listening to their awesome sense of humor and their genuine love for their teachers.
